Hey, Pittsburgh bus riders. We have to have a little talk about being considerate.

When you are a seemingly able-bodied young person sitting on one of the three-in-a-row seats reserved for people with handicaps at the front of the bus along with two other seemingly able-bodied young people on a really super crowded bus, and a pregnant woman gets on with her five-year-old son, don't just stare at her for the next ten minutes while she and her child get bumped and jostled. GET UP and give her your seat!

Believe me, I know all about hidden disabilities, and you have one, don't get up, but if you don't need to sit down, people, let the pregnant woman have your seat.

I would have said something to one of the people this morning but I was too far away and the bus was quite loud, but honestly, I shouldn't have to want to shout "GIVE THE PREGNANT WOMAN A SEAT, ASSHOLES!" across a crowded bus in the first place.

(This message brought to you by a distinct lack of coffee, the numbers 7 and 1, and the letter C.)
