local minidv recovery?

We have a miniDV tape that has a problem either with the case or with the tape tension, or something that ilk. We're looking for a local, pro shop that could move the tape to a new case under controlled conditions and verify that the tape isn't mis-spooled, etc. In a perfect world, we could drop it off at today or tomorrow am then pick it up COB Friday or Monday am.

Anyone worked with a local company that does this sort of thing?
