Bloodsucking Pharaohs in Pittsburgh?

Was the 1991 comedy slasher pic Bloodsucking Pharaohs in Pittsburgh filmed locally?

LATER: I've determined that it was filmed here. Anyone know about the locations? At least one scene is in a park that could be either Frick or Schenley. Also a few in industrial neighborhoods.

Yup. Just saw that listing after my post. I have some more questions that I'll add.

Yep!

They used my cousins car in the one scene where the guy gets his head cut open! I remember going to watch them film as a kid!

I honestly dont remember, Ill have to ask him if I see him sometime soon.

I was only 9, but I remember going around with my Grandma to different films he was working on. And I remember watching the movie with my friends and her pointing out his car.

I was a weird kid...

My grandmother was in it. No, really-- she's one of the belly dancers walking in the background in one scene. Much of it was filmed down the Strip at night.

I'm watching that scene right now. They're identifying it as The Egyptian District. I love it.

Your dad is/was an actor?

Actor - Well with that term used lightly I guess you could say he was. He had that role in Bloodsucking Pharoahs (the big clumsy guy), he had a 2 second shot in Day of the Dead (being shot as a zombie), and played Uncle Rege in the remake of Night of the Living Dead. It was basically luck and such as opposed to talent.
It made for seeing some fun things when I was young though.
