Beautiful Cat. Beautiful Photos. :D

The last paw shot is fantastic. :)

You might also enjoy visiting my cat photography site CATNIP CAMERA. Your photos seem very similar to some of mine. :)

Thank you!! I love the last shot!

And I'm sorry I'm so freaking forgetful! I meant to got to your page and post my pics in your visitors section, as you suggested in your comment to my last entry. But I have a memory like a sieve, it's terrible! At 23! o.O
Now I'm writing it down and do it as soon as possible, if you're still interested.

Of course I´m still interested!

And I have fibromyalgia, meaning I also have a memory like a sieve, so I forgive you! :D

I'm sorry that you suffer from that painful disease; I just read up on it.

And I didn't forget about the pictures, but it could still take some time, because both my laptop and my PC got a trojan and I have to get rid of the nasty bastard. Sigh.

Yeah, fibro is a bitch to live with most of the time, but I always have my kitties to ease me through the worst of times. When they're around me, I tend to forget the whole world around me including my pains, atleast temporarily. :D

As for computer viruses, I have been using AVAST! as a virus scanner for years now. It's free and it's not just a virus scanner, but it also automatically scans your emails, the websites you surf, downloads via P2P software and much much more. I think there must be something going around again on the internet at the moment, cause AVAST! has stopped 3 viruses on my computer in the last few days that have tried to reach me by email.... it catches them *before* they do any harm and you can then quarantine or delete them. I really really recommend it. :)

Yeah, kitties (or pets in general) are the best medication. Even if I feel really shitty they can cheer me up just by looking knowingly at me.

Concerning the virus: We recently changed our firewall and anti virus, to the best programs available (that's what tests said). That's when we found out that we had the trojan. Then we scanned all 3 computers and hopefully got rid of the damn thing. I'm not sure yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.

So, now I could be able to send the pics, all I need is time *g*.

Yeah, Norton, McAffee etc. are all just as good as one another... only thing is that you got to PAY for them. AVAST! Just got awarded "Best Anti-Virus Programme 2005" (don't ask me for the link, I can't remember now!) *and* it's free. I swear by it! :D

Fingers crossed for you puter. ;)

So, nothing new... the trojan is still there. It destroyed lots of files, but luckily they are just .exe-files. If it attacked picture-files, it would be much more serious :)
Unfortunately, most of my pics are still on the attacked computer. But, wait, I think, I've got some pics in Photobucket. I'll take a look now.

Always always make sure you got backups of your most precious files. If I lost my whole original photo collection, especially those of my cats, I would be devastated. So I usually either burn them onto a CD once a month or back them up onto my laptop and/or external hard drive.... of course that wouldn't help if someone broke into my apartment and stole ALL of the above! :0

I had another nasty trojan on both my laptop and PC last week again, a different one this time, but I think this was due to the fact of me downloading some dodgy software. Nevertheless, it took me hours of tweaking and geeking and wiping and playing around with both puters to get rid of it! Fortunately, no damage was done to anything.

Oh, I recently did some backups. I burn them on DVDs and there weren't enough pics to fill 2 entire DVDs, so I only burnt one, and the remaining pics are still on my computer. Only recent ones, so it wouldn't be a major loss, but still, I love my pics *g*.
But yeah, that's worth nothing if they'd get stolen *g*, but I hope they'd just take the TV and stuff *gg*.

Lucky you, that the trojan did not left any damage!

Oh, one question concerning the uploading of my photos: Do I have to register first at your site? Or do I just upload them? And if I want to link to my LJ here, where do I put the link? In the additional information box? (Sorry, way more than one question *ggg*, but I'm not one liking to learn by trial and error, but I want to know everything beforehand...)

No you don't have to register, you can just upload them, but I myself will have to approve the photos before they go on the site. If they are not very good or too fuzzy and blurred or flat, they won't make it onto the site. It IS a photography site after all, not a fuzzy cat snapshot site. ;)

If you want to put a link to your photo in your LJ you will have to put HTML code. Put the following code:

a href="http://www.heregoesyouraddressforphoto.com">Link to my cat photo (or type anything else you like here)

At the beginning of that sentence you will have to put a "<" bracket, and at the end you have to put "". If this doesn't make sense have a look on Google and find out how to link to webpages.... at the moment I really do not have much time to explain these things cause I got my family over from Germany and 7 friends from England, so I have got to shoot now! ;)

I think I didn't pose my question properly: I know how to make a link (at least my client knows *g*). I wanted to know where to put the address of this LJ (treating it like my website), like here. Do I just write it in the "File description" box?
*sigh* I'm a handful, sorry 'bout that.

Wish you fun with your friends and family! :D

Mmm, I'm still not sure what you mean. :*

Maybe you can email me.... email address on LJ info page of community. :)

Never mind. I feel really dumb now and I don't like that feeling. :/
So... maybe I'll just try uploading to your website and see if it works. If not, well, it's not the end of the world.

Thanks anyway. Guess I'll have to work on my English.
