Don't worry, my friends! I'm going to save everyone, even if it means I have to do it alone! As long as you have me, you'll never have anything to fear! I'm gonna fight these chicken monsters until the last one croaks! They're really strong, so watch your backs! But I'm an experienced warrior, so I know how to handle this

[Pit. You. Are. So cool. But Mac likes you a lot okay so he is worry warting a little.]

Pit, wait, just be careful! Please, don't turn into stone!

[He was running toward the bunkers but...Hnn...He doesn't want to leave Pit alone...]

Like I said! I'm an experienced warrior. I know a thing or two about fighting monsters, especially ones that like to play nasty tricks like turning people to stone. I have much to dish out to the likes of them! What could possibly happen to me?

You just stay safe. If they get you, I'll get them. That's a promise.

[He could go there, he knows where it is...but...he...He had been trying to get safe for a while but thinking it over. No. He can't run away. He should be ashamed of himself. It was not like him to run away. Pit needed help. He was going to to let one of his closest comrades bite the dust while he panics to make way to the bunkers.]

I ain't leavin' you alone out there, Pit! I'm goin' with you!

Please be careful! These fiends don't go down easy. But I think you'll find a way to beat them. You've got what it takes. I'll be anywhere there's monsters!

[Over the roof and down to the fountain ledge- that's where Pit alighted. The mark of a freshly finished battle cut across his face, and his watchful eyes scanned the area. He didn't need his eyes to hear the loud wails of help, however, and in moments he recognized the source of those cries.

Oh. Dedede. Dedede was not on Pit's long list of people that he liked. Dedede was obnoxious, selfish and greedy, and had bullied his friends. He could not turn a blind eye to someone in need, however. It opposed his principles, and if he left him there to waste away, guilt would plaster his conscience every time he saw him! Dedede was a pest, not a monster. He needed him.

Pit let a sigh float off his chest, and he hopped off the fountain ledge to attend to the bawling king. He glided to a stop in front of him and examined him head to toe.]

Looks like you lost a fight pretty bad. [Okay, he couldn't help but tease him a little.]

[As far as Pit's point of view ran, they looked like nothing but pathetic crocodile tears. But he really should just get on with it and help the poor guy.] Okay, okay. Just hold on a sec; I'll get you out!

[Aaaand out of what seems like nowhere Pit whips out a considerably large red mallet.] It might hurt a second, but that's the last of your concerns right now! Brace yourself...

[Pit takes aim, about to land a whopping blow against Dedede's petrified gut. BAP. The stone shatters! Dedede can now shake himself free.]

What's all this about doing things alone? You know that's not how we do things around here. I'm coming with you.

[Lucas you are of course invited, but making sure your family is safe and tucked away is of course an option.]

[Ness. Ness his brother has psychic powers, a cool lightning sword, wings, and a space gun. Ness his dad has cowboy rage and the love of his life. The odds are probably in their favor, all things considered.]

There's strength in numbers, right? I might not be able to heal anymore, but I can still fight.

Then you two find me, and we'll team up. I'd be glad to have your help!

[Did somebody say magical mallets? There is a Blacky sitting propped against a wall in the halls, her entire head and neck area and right leg turned to stone, along with a few patches in random places on the rest of her body... and her necklace?! Not that she can really move the unaffected parts when she's stoned out of her mind like that. Good thing she doesn't need to breathe.]

[OH NO, THEY GOT BLACKY. Pit sees her and is mortified to see her head turned to stone- that's always the worst. He hopes she's okay... So he runs over and takes out one of his magical hammers and...]

I'm so sorry, Miss Blacky. Please forgive me for this.

[...whacks her across the skull.]

[And then her head shattered into a million pieces and- okay no]

[The stone around her head crumbles away, leaving her cranium intact. Hooray! But her leg and the other patches on her body are still there. She takes a sudden breath and looks around, startled and confused.]

What happened? Is it over?

[pitticus]

You were petrified by the horrible chicken monsters! But not any more. [He is standing there smiling at her with that mallet. Did he seriously just... oh.]

Are you feeling okay?

Where are you.

You probably have me tracked, don't you? Come find me yourself! If you want to fight alongside me, then be prepared! They're hard to defeat.
