My roommate was being a jerk and I just about had it with him.

Well... I wouldn't say THAT. I mean, I annoy him a lot, and sometimes he steps on my toes about everything. It's really hard to make him happy... and we almost never see eye-to-eye. It's hard living with someone like him all the time. He's so selfish.

You could always ask for a reassignment. I can't imagine sleeping on a couch is very comfortable and don't they explode things late at night how do you sleep.

Couches aren't so bad! I don't see the big difference. They've got nice cushions and you can put a blanket over yourself if you get cold- just like a bed!

I never fit on couches. They're too narrow and my legs hang off and I end up on the floor by the end of the night.

Maybe not too tall for couches that fold out to beds. Does the couch you're sleeping on do that?

Yes, it does! Fantastic invention, huh? I can sleep on it both ways, too. But I don't need much space when I sleep- I kind of like curling up, if you know what I mean.

It's useful. Still doesn't quite beat an actual bed, but I guess if you don't need that much room, it's fine.
