Bianca and Michelle Farewell
Bianca and Michelle were the coordinators of Peer Network. I have known Bianca for almost 2 years now, and has also had the opportunity to work with her. I have known Michelle for almost a year, and had also worked with her. They are both good people to work with, and it saddened me deeply to found out that they were moving on with their lives, away from UTS...even away from Sydney in Bianca's case(to Melbourne).
So us Peer Networkers decided to organise a farewell gathering with them, and that took place on thursday 28th April 2005. Bianca and Michelle was at the loft between 4pm-8pm. We got them each a bracelet. Bianca's bracelet read "PN Loves Bianca" and Michelle's bracelet read "Michelle Rocks". We also made them each a card, where we inserted some collages of past Peer Network events, and had as many PNs to sign and write them some good greetings.
At the event, many PNs showed up, even for 10 mins, to past their farewell greetings. I dunno what other event during the semester would attract that many PNs! We presented them with their presents at around 6pm and Tina made a short speech on behalf of all the PNs. Then Bianca and Michelle said their goodbyes, and Brett concluded the speech bits by thanking everyone. After that, we continue chatting to Bianca and Michelle and wish them luck, until it was time to go.
