I am now in the exam period.
My first exam is BIA on Monday, then IDS on tuesday. My last exam is on the 29th June, which is Signal Theory.
I got a shock on Sunday when I found out that euro 2004 was not going to be shown on sbs tv! It will only be shown on foxtel! What the fuck is this? Euro 2004 is the second most important soccer tournament in the world, and it is not being shown on general tv?!! And the media had the audacity to say, on the same night, that Australia's most played sport amongst kids is now soccer. Soccer my ass! Do kids have to pay to watch their favourite sport on tv?
That was the end of the euro excitement for me, sadly. Now I understand why Blater do not want to give Australia an automatic place in the world cup. If they cannot even show the game's 2nd most important event on national tv, then there is really no hope.
