I wrote an entry this morning, but hit the wrong button on my dad's computer and closed Internet Explorer before I could post it. So I will try again.
My last three days in Toronto were hellish, but I now have two of my three papers finished and handed in (including the one that was ridiculously late). IO still have one to write over the break, but I am actually kind of looking forward to it. And of course I have some Latin to work on. I went for 42 hours without sleep on Sunday and Monday and only slept 6 hours on Monday night due to packing, etc. I feel especially bad because I was a horrible guest at Kelli and Anthony's Christmas party--it wes just too much for me.
I got to Atlanta yesterday, where there is sadly no snow but happily has friends and family and pets. Last night my family and I went to my favorite restauraunt in the world, Jalisco's, which is always the first stop whenever one of the Irvin girls comes home. It is a family-run Mexican place where they serve simple but wonderful food for very little money. I had been dreaming of the cheese dip for the past two weeks!! It was doubly nice because Lindsey came to dinner with us and brought my birthday present=the special edition DVD of Beauty and the Beast. I can't wait to watch it!
Soon Lindsey will be coming to pick me up and we will go meet Susan to watch the Two Towers! I can't wait. And tonight I have choir practice so I can sing with them on Christmas Eve. A busy but eventful day. Tonight I might actually get to sleep for a while. This morning I had an appointment at 9 so I had to be up early.
Anyway, I need to go do a couple things before Lindsey comes. Maybe next time I write I will be on the way to being well-rested.
