First Full Day at Pitt
So we woke up at 8:45 and got ready. Okay Pitt has wacko showers. The one I was in flooded. So basically when I went to take my flip flops off to wash my foot and my flip flop almost floated away. Then I got my books and crap engineering books are EXPENSIVE. I won't even get into that. Then I got a 25 foot cable and wow that's long. Then we just wandered around campus and went to the convocation then Fanfest. Well the band was supposed to play there but it was optional so Ellen and I decided just to be normal freshmen and see what was going on. Well Bethany, Ellen, and I went and Ellen and I swear we were so caught. That's what we get for standing around watching the band. But the 3 of us got a pic posted with the Pitt Panther. I should probably post that one later. Then we went back to the room to watch the Steeler/Eagle game and that was interesting since Ellen is from Philly. But before that we made sure to use up our meal blocks. So now our fridge is filled with yogurt and some other random stuff. Well I have an early day tomorrow with my engineering orientation at 8:45. So have a wonderful night. :-)
