nervous clouds: I had the BEST night last night. I went to the Garage (youth center, but it's a good one, not a crappy one) after work. I knew 2 guys who's bands were playing there, so I decided to go see them. One of which I saw for maybe 5 seconds, he was wearing a Johnny the Homocidal Maniac shirt at skool and I said "Ohh! You have a Johnny the Homocidal Maniac shirt! You're cool!" (that wasn't meant to sounds sarcastic if it did.) And he says "yeah! cool!" or something to that extent, then he said "Hey! Come see my band play at the Garage tonight!" And I was like "Alright!"
Heh.
So I went and dragged Jaci along because no one else was around. I dunno if she had fun but I had a blast. It was the biggest gathering of freaks I'd ever seen, and the most number of people in one room who knew what JTHM was.
I wore my Happy Noodle Boy shirt and found the guy with the Johnny shirt. He called me the Happy Noodle Boy Girl. His band, Fixtion, was REALLY REALLY good. I mean, they had some really shitty punk rock bands playing there that night, but his band was total grunge, TONS of distortion, and they were awesome. This kid named Matt was running around with a video camera getting shots of everyone, and he came up to me and screamed "Skank!!" (It was a command, not an insult thing, ya know.) And I did, and he videotaped it. So now there's more evidence of me being an idiot. But it was cool.
