The door was open for Excel and though the place was still being worked on, the rich wood and deep jewel tones accents screamed opulence and overstated luxury.

Seated at the soon to be fully stocked bar was Bianca, coiffed and dressed impeccably as usual.

"Hello, my dear. Do join me."

{ooc: I'M SORRY! ;_; Broken computer and camping stuff with family came up!]

Excel looked around a little nervously at all the luxury the place was oozing. She suddenly felt very out-of-place; this wasn't the type of place she was used to working at, she already knew that much. She approached the bar, feeling very underdressed.

"Ah, yo! You're Miss Claire, then, right? Is that the right way to say it? Or should I just call you Boss? We were going to discuss wages and work?"

[OOC: No problemo, don't worry about it! :D]

"Boss is so... crass. Miss Biaca will work just fine."

With a flick of her hand, she indicated a spot close to her at the bar and motioned to the man behind the bar. Without a word, he looked to Excel with slightly glassy eyes, ready to get her anything she wished to drink.

"Tell me what you've done similar to this and we'll come to an agreement that will make both of us happy."

With a slight hesitancy, Excel took a seat, momentarily distracted by the bartender. She muttered a quick "No thanks, I didn't bring any money with me" to him before looking back at Miss Bianca.

"Uh... Right! Miss Bianca, then. Well, I've worked at all kinds of places before, particularly janitorial or wait-staff positions over the years, so it's really nothing new to me, Bo-Eh, Miss Bianca." She tried her best to maintain her initial enthusiasm so as not to lose the position (at least not until she heard a wage figure anyway).

Bianca shuffled her hands at the man, sending him off into the shadows where he just stood, patiently waiting.

"That's good. I'm assuming you won't have a problem working around a lot of different kinds of people, then. If you'd like the job, you'll be working up here, in the front of the house, serving my customers and such. The starting pay is three indigos a week, with raises as business grows."

If she'd taken her up on the offer of a drink, she'd have been choking on it now.

"T-THREE-!?"

Taking a moment to catch her breath, she tried to think for a moment. What kind of establishment could break the economy like that? Was she involved in some sort of illegal drug-smuggling operation of some sort? Did it count if she wasn't aware of it? Was she already an accessory anyway?

With pay like that, did any of it really matter?

...

The mental consensus was a resounding "no".

"Alright! I'll take the job!"

A slim, pale hand stoped her before she could say anything else.

"One moment, dear. Before you accept, you should know a few things. First is that I keep odd hours for a reason. I'm not human and if you have an issue with that, you'd be good to find the door and forget you were ever here. Second is that this club isn't just a bar. It serves a different purpose. We also cater to the more base urges of people."

Excel gave a noticeable shudder at the sudden contact, but whether it was because of the eeriness or just general discomfort wasn't very clear. She chuckled it off and waved a hand dismissively.

"I've done a lot of 'don't ask, don't tell' work before in my temping time. Saves a lot of fake resumes, y'know. Not that I'm not every bit as experienced as I say I am, but just... Y'know, stuff I don't think needs to be known about me. You know how it is. At least I got the feeling you did. Pay like that kinda makes me wonder if I'm not overshooting here... Anyway, I'm probably better off not knowin' all the same."

She nods, thinking Excel is pretty smart for not asking more. It's what she was looking for in a good employee.

"I do know how it is. That being said, if you still want the job, it's yours."

Excel gives an energetic salute.

"You bet! Refusal was hardly even an option at this point!"

A cool smile crossed Bianca's features as she nods.

"You have free use of the club, as long as you don't disturb our guests. That includes free food and drink when you're here. Now, no eating me out of house and home, of course."

Excel's grin falters just a little, but she attempts to maintain.

"Aha, I may take you up on the food from time to time, but if it's all the same to you I'm thinking that's all the use I'm looking to get outta this place."

She still thought it was some kind of illegal operation, but she figured she could always beat it real quick-like if she had to, fast enough to get away from any kinda trouble like that, and as long as she didn't know what it was, she wasn't REALLY guilty of anything! Genius, of course.

"... Oh, yeah, by the way, do I need a uniform or something?"

"Of course. I have them ready in the closet in my office. Come with me, dear."

She rose and slipped through a doorway hidden off to the left of the bar, waiting patienly for her by her desk.

Inside the closet is several garment bags, each neatly organized with several newly purchased outfits. They're all short skirts and tighter shirts that most would be willing to wear in public and the aprons offered with them didn't help to cover up much.

Excel follows her into the office, looking around to get more of a feel for the place as she follows, kinda wary, but heeding her own advice of 'don't really wanna know'. When she reaches the office and checks out the outfits, her expression falls quite noticeably.

"... And... Uh... You don't... You don't think you have anything in my size or anything?"

The corners of her mouth twitch a little as she tries to figure out whether she'd even be ABLE to squeeze into one of the outfits, much less willing.
