[The camera is pointed at nothing in particular, just one of the walls and door of Excel's apartment. However, there's plenty of noises akin to construction work, lots of clanging metal and oil. Occasionally the back of Excel's head pops up into view, wearing a handkerchief over her head like a mechanic, with her hair in a thick braid down the back as usual. She's covered in grease and oil from what can be seen, and sometimes she sits back and wipes her forehead, smearing more grease on it.]
Ah, it's almost done now... Wonder if it'll even work...
[She looks over at the recorder, and waves, wrench in hand.]
Oi, project: robo-Hyatt is proceeding as planned so far, but I don't suppose there's anyone out there with a spare car battery and some jumper cables? Oh, and maybe a-
[There's a pop and some smoke, and Excel turns and quickly fumbles around to put out whatever it is. After it's done, Excel coughs a few times and sits back up]
.... And another microwave to take apart for spare parts. I guess I might have to get that one myself.
