[Excel can be heard getting up out of bed, singing as if narrating for herself. If you've ever heard a Japanese person try to sing Dolly Parton, that's what you'd be hearing now. As she sings and walks over to the kitchen area, you can hear her setting herself up breakfast, pausing to eat.]
Tumble outta bed
And I stumble to the kitchen
Pour myself a cup of ambition
And yawn and stretch
And try to come to life~
[Kitchenware is set down as she walks into the bathroom and clothes can be heard dropping as she gets herself into the bathroom, continuing the song as she washes off. The echo from the linoleum makes it clearly audible over the running water. Despite the fact that she hasn't actually realized she's doing it yet, she seems rather enthusiastic about it. It'd be cute if it wasn't so dreadfully awkward-sounding.]
Jump in the shower
And the blood starts pumpin'
Out on the street
The traffic starts jumpin'
The folks like me on the job from 9 to 5
Workin' 9 to 5,
What a way to make a livin'
Barely gettin' by
It's all takin' and no givin'
They just use your mind
And they never give you credit
It's enough to drive you crazy
If you let it
9 to 5, for service and devotion
You would think that I
Would deserve a fat promotion
Want to move ahead
But the boss won't seem to let me
