-'s getting colder out. I guess I'm gonna have to go get more warm clothes.... Ugh. Wonder if they have any good bargain places around here. Mainly because regular clothing stores are gonna harass me about my sizes and that's nobody's business but mine and my Lord's.

Right, so.... Maybe some socks.... A new scarf, too what ( Read more... )

Yes, the weather has been changing, hasn't it? And I have no winter kimono with me at the moment . . .

Ah....... A kimono.... Doesn't sound all too particularly warm to begin with, really....

Oh . . . are the City's winters murderous, Excel-san?

Well, I dunno, but even back in Fukuoka we had enough snow to warrant layered clothing. Let's see, you get stuff like, uh.... Y'know, scarf, gloves, sweater, warm pants, and boots, y'see?

Ah, sou. Perhaps I should invest in such things as well . . . Though I have never worn trousers before . . .

Ah, it's actually pretty comfortable, really. Makes it easier to move around, too, 'specially in snow. It's worth it, trust me.

I'll take Excel-san's word for it. Perhaps I shall buy me a pair . . .

But what underwear does a woman wear with the skin-lining trousers of today?

W-What? Well, t-that's, eh.... I-I don't usually wear pants that tight, anyway... I-I guess you just wear.... Well, there oughta be normal underwear in the store, that oughta.... that oughta work well enough, I guess.

Normal underwear? Well, the underwear of today must be different from the traditional koshimaki, then, for you could certainly not don koshimaki with trousers . . . Hm.

Would it plausible to wear nothing underneath without risking injury to one's self?

A-Ah......... I-I'd definitely say no. I wouldn't advise anything extreme, but... Well, most people just wear stuff like this.

Ah, sou. Those look rather . . . confining. I suppose if that's the norm nowadays . . .

I-It's for the best that you keep yourself covered up somehow or another......

Yes, I suppose. What a bother.

How do you wear them? Are they fastened somewhere?

Well... The alternative ain't exactly too great, either...

N-No, you just.... Y'know, you just... Put your legs through the holes and pull up.... I-I mean, that's usually how it is. I'm not exactly.... Well, I usually just get a whole bunch of the same type, really, so.... Ah....

foxy_physician December 7 2007, 20:23:04 UTC
There is an alternative?

You have to step into them? Kami-sama. How inelegant.

pitfallen December 7 2007, 20:25:44 UTC
Well, not wearing anything, but I highly advise against that....

A-Again, that's just... Kinda how things are... done nowadays, I guess.... I mean, there's all kinds out there, but... D-Do you really need my help with all this?
