Christmas '04
Woah, it's been years since I've done this. All the cool kids are adding wish lists to their buddy profiles, and not to be outdone, I've included my own.
Julia and my roommates can only begin to tell you of my new found obsession with Apple computers. No really, it's an obsession. You have one "aha" moment and you're stuck for good. The Powerbook G4 would be ideal, as it is more powerful than my desktop, but I will settle for the iBook.
Seeing how no one would spend that much money on a computer for me, I'm also asking for upgrades. These include an LCD monitor, DVD burner, DVI, Firewire, more RAM...anything to improve the compy.
Staying true to music dork form, I want Finale 2005. A MIDI keyboard would be cool too...and a MIDI converter...
My digital camera needs an SD or MMC expansion card. I think the max it can handle is 512 MB.
DVD's...Napoleon Dynamite will be out on the 21st. No lame "blockbusters".
CD's...Bryn Terfel supposedly has a new CD out...there are also quality recording of Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and Bach Cantatas that would be nice. Then there's my other half, including Belle and Sebastian, Hot Hot Heat, Kings of Convenience, and I'm sure there's more.
Gaggia makes a killer line of espresso machines, and they would look great in my kitchen.
Julia makes fun of some of my khaki pants...better get new ones.
I believe that's all for now. Doesn't it sound like fun? I probably won't get any of that stuff, but this isn't what Christmas is about, right? We NEVER get what we want, just what people want to give! Ok, it's late. We'll see if I EVER post again!
