Yes there's a reason why I never update this thing, and it might be to the tune of "I have a life seperate from updating an online journal." This one's for all of my admiring fans?
I've been busy, that's the bottom line. I had a Physics test Wednesday, so I tried to make a decent grade on that. I hope it worked. I also spent my 4th with family. I have some folks that live in Mentone AL, just across the border from Menlo, GA. There I golfed for the first time in about four years, and it showed. Luckily we were playing best ball, and I was allowed many mistakes. Fireworks are legal in Alabama, so we had some massive explosives. They were what you Georgians usually see on the fourth, just a lot closer to the ground. Not bad for $32.
I worked my first shift waiting tables last night, and it was glorious. I only had three tables at the beginning of the night, but for some reason Wednesday night decided to be busy. As more people came, the more tables were give to me. I walked out with $65 or so, not bad for a first night. I think it was about 20%.
I guess there's room for ranting about my job...I've been trying to wait tables for three to four months now. Last night was the first time I've had a shift doing so. The problem is that I was such a good runner and busser...I suppose it's easier to hire new servers than new crap workers, as many servers were hired and not many runners or bussers were. Now I'm basically the only one, and when I need off, I can't have it. I'm locked into doing something I never wanted to do, but not that it matters because I won't be working there during school, and therefore no point in finding another job to hold me over. I suppose if I were to wait tables, I'd consider staying during the school year...that's their loss.
Ok, that's enough bitterness. How about sappyness?
I love Julia Middleton. What a great girl! I always look forward to talking to her, and definitely seeing her. She is probably the main reason I can't wait for school to start.
Yeah, ok. I have work today too. See you later.
