calling all Mac/VPC geeks

OK, I got a new external ultra-portable HDD for my Mac today. The thing is, I want to be able to back up virtual PC files to it. It is formatted for Windoze and my Mac recognizes it. The thing is - I can't get Virtual PC to recognize it so I can back up the files. Any ideas as to how I can do this?
