Please, take a seat, I have some shocking news to tell you. Do you want the long or the condensed version of the happenings on January the 22nd at 10:30 am Eastern time? Ah, condensed, I sensed you'd say that. Here goes:
I am now a brunette.
With medium-length hair. And waves. And I have a definite bang/thing going on. And perhaps even a bit of rocker-attitude in it (or so ze Robert says).
And I may be infected with some gut-ripping disease as my hair dresser had to absentee himself a couple times during the 2.5 hour ordeal. Yes, traggic.
It was worth it. Robert-hair-man told me, whilst my roots were still an eyesore-dirty-blond-ACK-tone, that, though I probably heard it a lot, he thought I was stunningly beautiful. Made me well up, of course. *curses as to why he had to be so ill and at Jenny's unability to ask 1) his age (looks can be deceiving) and 2) his relationship status (hey, he asked mine...)* Ah, I fell for him instantly.
Okay, not quite, but still, I'd never (to my recollection) been called pretty-- let alone beautiful-- by any stranger and I wanted to share my happiness with you all.
Some pictures:
I feel french in this photo. Huh,
My bangs no longer resemble a combover! Robert wins :)
My hair may look pretty long, but it's only an impression. And the color is 'milk chocolate' (with hints of red from underneath)
So yay! Good DAY!
