Friends on Earth
The waiting period between their dress fitting and Show Time has always seemed awkward to Youngjae. PRE!B.A.P. Live on Earth SEOUL concert. ~400wc. G. Daejae BrOTP.

( Today, Daehyun is pacing around the dressing room, fingers clenched. After a while, even the mini clips in Daehyun's hair lose their comedic effect, leaving behind someone Youngjae still remembers as the new kid with the Busan accent. )

THE DAEJAE FIC IS SOOOO CUTE. even with my gigantic bias aside, i think it's so refreshing to read a fic where daehyun's insecurities are kind of the backbone of the fic. especially since usually it's youngjae who's portrayed as the insecure one (which i 100% think he is, lol), but i think daehyun too also has a heavy amount of insecurities he just hates showing. i mean, he's a kid shipped from busan, without any formal training prior, so i can imagine that he'd have his own set of demons underneath his skin.

"Why so blue, Panda Bear?" Youngjae asks, grinning when Daehyun gives him a small smile.

i also really like the baektao one. i've never been into the pairing all that much, but i thought their dynamic was so adorable to read. also:

I think vocal line's dynamic is super interesting because they could have easily been rivals when B.A.P. was still a project group. When BANG N ZELO debuted, there was no guarantee that TSENT wouldn't have scrapped B.A.P. and just went with a rapping duo. Also because Dae is kind of vocal about his friendship with Youngjae and I love vocal line being silly /rolls away

omg I actually wrote that baektao fic a month ago, before Wolf was leaked and my life was changed. Can you imagine the look on Baekhyun and Kyungsoo's faces when they demo'ed that song?? I JUST.

that actually reminds me back in secret mtv diary, zinger and jieun were interviewing byg and he's like "stay tuned for ts ents 5 member boy group", so it's obvious things def shuffled around. i also think that it is possible for there to always be a little resentment? youngjae is a good singer, but daehyun is just... miles better. i think youngjae knows that, but i feel like he kind of sidesteps bringing it up whenever the topic of him being "lead vocal" comes up. not to mention the line distribution in b.a.p's songs isn't exactly favourable towards him. as you said, i think they've both been pretty vocal about their friendship, but i think youngjae definitely gets a bit insecure about where he stands sometimes, and it kind of manifests with him going over the top sometimes.

kyungsoo and baekhyun sound ridic terrible on that demo. obviously they didn't give a fuck whilst recording it, lol.

!!! I like to meta about Daehyun's role in B.A.P. too, especially since they were clearly looking for a second vocalist to take the heavy singing off Youngjae and hit the jackpot with Daehyun. For being the last member added, Daehyun is surprisingly good at everything? Man what I wouldn't give for an introspective Daehyun or Youngjae fic that tackles their bromance in a serious light u___u I will... probably end up writing it tho cries.

I hope they were drunk b/c that's the only way for K to have seriously recorded that track NEGA WOLF AWOOOO
