Today was the annual John Glenn Leadership Symposium. What does that mean you ask? It means that Student council gets together with a bunch of freshmen and try to plan Homecoming. But what it really means is that Taylor, Carrie, Marissa, and me sit in the corner and crack jokes while we're supposed to be planning.
This is what we came up with. Homecoming theme: Tropical Paradise. Name of the dance: (okay I totally love this, because we threw it out there as a joke, so it's super funny sounding) Caribbean Nights: "It's Hulalicious!". lol. so funny. I wanted it to be Sand In Your Bottoms, but they said that was too weird. What Ev. Homecoming colors: Those of the sunset. Spirit Days: Monday will probably be Comfy day, Tuesday and Wednesday still have to be approved, Thursday is Spirit Day, since stupid Mr. Swinehart made Homecoming on a Thursday, and Friday is Dress Tropical day. Pep Rally games: Mr. Legs in Hula skirts, and some kind of Hula Hoop contest. I think that's it.
Anyway, the Senior Hallway has to be amazing this year, since we should have won the last three years, but we were robbed. So all of you have to stay after school and help. Thanks!

P.S. I have successfully gone to another country, and gotten back into it, but barely. I was almost detained at the border. My purse fell out of the car when the guy was talking to us, and he looked amused/pissed. It didn't help that everything fell out of my purse, and I had to get out and crawl under the car to get all of it. He almost got his tazer gun out. That stuff would only happen to me.
