So I finally got back onto livejournal...

I'm engaged to this nice young, perfectly normal guy. God forbid his family ever meets mine.
I have a new tattoo-just got my ribs done a couple weeks ago.
I picked up Cpl meritoriously the beginning of March, and Marine of the Quarter for the first quarter of the year. Apparently, my lack of hesitation to bitch out anyone is appreciated. Who knew?
I finally made it to the fleet, and my shop is great. All of them are just as angry and sarcastic as I am, so it's excellent there. I'm stationed at HMLA/T-303...It's a training squadron for Huey and Cobra pilots out on the West Coast. Not what I originally wanted, but I do get to be with the first people learning the new UH-1Y and AH-1Z, which is kinda badass, I guess.
Beyond that? I'm thinking (very hard) about buying a condo out here. I like it out here. With the exception of horrible drivers, it's great. There's so much to do, and in addition, THERE ARE NO MOSQUITOES. I love it. So, yeah. I'll probably stay out here for a long while, unless this place slides into the ocean. Which is entirely likely.
But that is all for now...maybe it won't take a year and a bit for me to post again.
