Late Con report - MFF
So MFF '08 came and went. It was awesome.
Heres some highlights:
On the trip up, I picked up Nat Sherman Fantasias for smokes before the con. The super gay ones and then rounded up a couple of pink lighters so the elliotbunny and I could have smokes on the way up. The we watched a couple of movies, listened to music and had a good time driving to the con. Val woke up towards the end up it and we just chatted the rest of the way in.
Thursday:
So once at the con, I met up with Bradhound, grabbed a room key and then proceeded to haul gear inside. Afterwards, it was time for dinner and fursuiting some. So I went to reg and hung out there for a bit since I had a transferred one from the year before due to health reasons. Hung out with Subbycoon and Elliotbunny and Val some as well. After that, some sleep and then on to Friday.
Friday:
Picked up Booze. Had good food and partied. I went to the Friday night dance for a little bit and just spent most of the time hanging out with friends. MFF is one of those big social cons for me.
Saturday:
After food and friends, I setup that evening for the DJ gig and then went and got in my husky as a partial before my set. Once I was up, I played about a 55 min set that evening and had an awesome time. Then tear down, loading gear in the van and hanging out more. I think I went to sleep about 5 or 6 AM. One of the highlights was finding robodobie wandering around with others looking for something to do and then he stretched out over all of us on the hotel couch and went to sleep. Yay for lap dogs :P
Sunday:
More Food and hanging out. Then the party that night. Wow. It was awesome. I ended up going to the party in suit and had a few drinks. Then a few more.... and husky was his normal friendly self as usual :P It was a good time over all and its times like that which make you thankful for the friends, the parties, and all the fun there is to be had at cons.
Monday:
Breakfast, packing, and saying goodbyes. The usual. Then we slept most of the way back. Thanks to the bunny for being our trusty driver. Much appreciated :)
MFF has always been a very social con for me and one of the best ones to go to. This one was no exception to that at all. I look forward to MFF '09 next year and will see all my friends there again. To all those I met, hung out with, and had a fun con with, thanks for the good times and hope to hear from you all over the year as well :)
