life. medicated.
so yeah, this whole time i THOUGHT i had asthma i was living a complete lie! so sad, really. i went to an allergist this past wednesday and she told me that it may have not been asthma at all, but instead i live with SAD, small airway disease! can you believe it?! it's mostly found in children of parents who smoked around them a lot as a child... but geez, neither of my parents smoked and i don't remember being brought to places where i was exposed to huge amounts of second hand smoke. this is such bullcrap. doctors always get things wrong. so basically i have a small breathing passage and that's why i wheeze sometimes and it's also the reason why phlegm always gets stuck in there so often and so deeply. anyhow, she gave me 2 new medications to take regularly. i also found out i'm allergic to everything that surrounds me, dustmites, GRASS, POLLEN, everything naturally occurring... sheesh! can i just live in a bubble already so i don't have to be on drugs all the time?!?
