cake or death?

alright so life is kinda crazy for me, it is all in myhead of course.
I went to SCCC yesterday and thier program exceeded my expectations. I don't think I will be able to get in this fall due to my sore portfilio..I will be tryign however. In the event I do not get in they have a year long publsihing arts program (Where I would learn all of the creative sutie and get more time adjsuting colors and basicaly learning the technical side of production) The program sounds interesting and many students who don't get in at first do the program to beef up their portfiolio and they always seem to get in.

So says the instucrtors "a SCCC portfilio is looked at highly in the professional feild" me "more so then other four year BFA programs?" So says instrutors "yes yes very much so"

well I guess my question is a little general, but they sure are confident.
Currently 6 of their first year design students will be doing internships in NYC

all in all I do like the program, they boast an 85-90% employment rate after college...and that is in desing NOT production.

These are some hefty claims and I am not so sure I turst them just yet.

I still have AI to look at..who cut 70% after two years (could I make that cut? how much money will have been wasted?)

Also I have this smaller school IADT (an acclerated BFA program...full accredited)

as of today
I need to contact the U and see how long a business AA will get me into the shcool....I have a feeling that in three years it will be worthless.... I have a feeling I will be doing the publsihing arts (1 year), then going to get a pt job with that and going to the U for a business degree (2 years), then going back to SCCC (?) for their AA (2 years)--NO I CAN'T DO BOTH OF ANY OF THE PROGRAMS

OR will I do the three years at SCCC first and just Ace the classes at the U?
OR will I go to the U and then SCCC?
OR will I just go work at a gas station?

so contact the U and see what the timing issue will be, it may decide for me

lots of thinking, worrying, planning, stressing, inging and discussing to go on.

on a side note talking to my mom she thinks this is a great idea and thinks it fits me well

stuff is alright right now, not great but alright.
Leaving for Oregon on saturday should be fun.
