(no subject)
I probably wouldn't have come here at all if Morven hadn't heard the bad news. I know I can't possibly know how it feels like to be in her situation, so I can only say that I'm sorry. In situations like this, everything you say sounds somehow worthless, like something you've already said a thousand times so that it has lost its meaning and no longer means what you want it to mean. Morven, if you need to talk and share your feelings, I'm here for you!
Since I last posted an entry, things like these happened:
-I got arrested for protesting against palm oil with Greenpeace and was detained for 24 hours.
-Japan hasn't been able to hunt a single whale because of the resistance. PALM OIL BASED BIODIESEL IS EVIL!
-I spent a great Xmas eve with my family.
-I was in Scotland for two weeks and had a GREAT time! I wish I would have been able to stay longer, it would have been so nice to spend more time with people who saved me from losing my bananas during the last two years of uni. Also, Krista, thank you for letting me stay at your place! Hope you'll survive the semester! :D
Me from train window, eating houmus, bread and olives after a day of hell.
-I changed my job. Actually, it's not a job, it's an internship. I'm now working for a left-wing magazine, and the people there are great!
-There has been less snow than ever, because of global warming, but I can still see sooo many SUV:s driving around. I sometimes spit on them when no one's watching.
-I've worked as a freelance journalist for the newspaper I used to train for.
I don't think there's anything more that special. That's it, my life isn't as special as I wanted it to be, I'm stuck in an area that makes me depressed, in a counrty where nothing happens. I mean, I know the way things are in my life aren't BAD, but I just would like to spend my life a bit differently. Still collecting money to get to Thailand. That's my dream. Written some, painted, played World of Warcraft, watched Heroes (It's GREAT!), hung out with friends, went to cinema, the usual stuff.
Summer cottage! I wish summer was here already!
