Hello Massage!
Me and Karen went to Happy Days last night to say bye to Oye and Pao (the cool Thai staff - Oye has a half Finnish son called Jussi!), booked another diving trip to Raya Noi for Saturday, ate some noodles with kale and spices (Karen had shrimps in hers) and went to the rooster-infested hostel for one more night. At two o'clock, just like on the night before, the cat started meaowing behind the door and we had to let her in. She LOOOVED seaweed! Maybe it's just a thing that cats want to eat when they're pregnant. She's going to be busy with little kittens soon!
Back at Patong Beach today. The rain was soo heavy we couldn't take a Tuk Tuk, so we took a fancy taxi and I had to feel embarrassed cause I am far too skanky for my own good. The roosters had not let us sleep, so we were happy to get away from the place, even though the staff was veery nice. we found the Crown Hostel, which is about 10 minutes away from Patong Beach, and got a nice room with a fan that I've already fallen in love with. There aren't so many hot backpacker boys around the place, as it's the low season, but we were called sexy ladies by some sleezy salesmen. Do I SERIOUSLY look like I have money for a suit? I would just skank up the shop. But I guess they only care about my money. They could probably clean off the skank later. Anyway, we just ended up walking on the beach when it was raining heavily and we also ate a very nice (and very expensive) vegetarian meal at an Indian restaurant.
I already regretted that I didn't go to dive at Phi Phi Leh today, but the sea was so rough the boat would just have turned back. But I've heard there might be whale sharks and manta rays at Raya Noi! I'm sooo hoping to see some.
After Phuket, we're going to head to Phi Phi Don and do a couple of dives + visit Maya Bay. After that to Krabi (one of the most BEAUTIFUL places in Thailand) and then Malaysia by bus. More diving, of course, in both places. It's so much fun beig a qualified diver! When I become an instructor, Ill give a discount to all my LJ friends so that you can become divers too! Who's up for it?
