I just started seething over a comment Doogie Cochran made to my cousin in junior high

KNIGHTS !!! That's it, yes that is it and the colors were red and white...
Such relief! I am saved from senility and the resthome for yet another day.

I should feel compassion but instead I will fume about it a few years longer.
The great grandmother did this sort of thing into her nineties and her daughter would say
"Oh Mom , just let it go :that was years ago.. " I understand perfectly why she did this.
She was thrilled to have any memory at all whether good or bad!
You are just kind of proud of yourself that you aren't peeing in your own pants and you remembered something.
It is ridiculous how selective my memory is.
I really don't want to remember that this dark little trash monkey claimed I would flash him on purpose and yet once every two years or so I will think about it and it still
infuriates me .
I remember I had to ask my cousin what it meant to flash a beaver.
I don't know what provoked this memory. I guess it is my need to flush with red and anger at
the memory and wonder ..Why mention that to someone's first cousin? I can't imagine how that topic came up. It seems so classless and tacky.. Very short skirts were the fashion.

Could it be I was flashing everyone beavers indiscriminately and it was a common fact. That opens up the possibility for a lot more random blushing, embarassment and rage.

Perhaps on some level I knew I was doing this and I have blocked it out of my conscious mind.
