ruth and matt are now married in beautiful wedded bliss :)
i had been at ruths from wednesday, where apart from that evening and half an hour in a cafe, we did not stop till eth wedding itself! i punched holes, created favour bags, flower arranged, and allsorts in preparation. and took a million photos! the preparation was lots and lots of fun and it was so lovely to help ruth, irene and em out. i had a really good t ime, even though i dont want to see a circle of netting for a long time!! lol!!
i was quite nervous about the rehearsal on friday - hayley and i didnt really know what to expect or what was going on! on friday night, dee and rach came over so we could have a girlie evening and get ready for the morning! we were all up at 7 (ruth was up at 6!) em and i scuttled downstairs to create party popper havoc in the living room! time seemed to go slowly until the latter side of our champagne brekkie, where suddenly there wasnt enough time to do everything we needed!! t'other bridesmaides had gone to teh hairdressers to have tres glam hair but due to funds i did thetraditional 'plait when wet' style to have waves. dee did ruths hair and make up - she looked amazing in the whole get up - really gorgeous! the ceremony was really lovely despite thenerves! the reception was also wonderful - being on the op table, we were looked after very very well with LOTS of free wine, which set me up just nicely for the rest of the evening! ruth and matt didnt really stop smiling all evening which was lovely to see, and they had been upgraded to a very lovely hotel.
luckily add, dee alistair and myself were allowed to stay at irenes on sat night which also meant we got to see ruth and matt before we left :)
dee me and the boys had mucho fun at the reception - we laughed lots and had such good fun - i miss you dee!!!
