freezing snow fog of d00m
...is what our forecast was today. It has been snowing for about 17 hours straight now, which will hopefully stop around noon tomorrow. And it isn't the flurry type of snow its been full bore snowing the whole time. I think they are saying 40 inches when it's all over. In Denver, apparently it is the "fog" part that most people hate driving in -- not the snow. Needless to say, snow day for everyone in the hoemke household - even I who live about 8 blocks from work.
So spent most of the morning lvl up my character for a game that we will not be playing for a few months, and then worked on knitting up something to cover my ears when ever I do go out of the house. I studiously avoided any filing and accounting tasks that are currently surrounding my desk at home. Guru came home around noon and we fusted around the house for a while and then watched a movie. (the Mummy) Now it's 5 and completely dark out, still snowing but now without as many snow plows. I'm trying to decide if I want to put my boots on to go get the netflix disk from my mailbox...Maybe not. :)
