Phil was right. As usual. It doesn't even annoy me anymore, I just accept it.

What he was right about was that I might as well go back to Gainesville over break, because all I do at home is watch TV and read all day, which I could do in Gainesville. Plus, I'd get to see my boyfriend after work in Gainesville.

Anyway, the reason I'm writing in this thing is because I'm bored. Which isn't really a good reason to be writing, because I have nothing to say. I guess since nobody will probably read this, I can say whatever the hell I want...as a world-class rambler, this is an intriguing prospect.

Ok. So. What is going on in my life? I am looking for a new place to live next year, as cheap as possible, unfurnished and with 4 bedrooms. This is not the challenge. The challenge is convincing my dad (and Claire convincing BOTH of her parents) that he should pay for me to live in the same apartment as my boyfriend. I really have no idea what he's going to say. I just never know when he's going to be ridiculous and when he's going to be practical. I'm pretty worried over it, because I really want to move in together, officially. Life will be easier (no apartment commutes) and rent will be cheaper.

You know, I was thinking about it, and winter break has been good in one respect. I've gotten to catch up on all the old movies I've never seen. I really like old movies. Black and white, especially. There's something comforting about them, even when they end depressingly because they're based on depressed Russian author's novels (for ex., Lolita). I watched Casablanca (finally) with Phil (sort of with him...he fell asleep halfway through). I watched Lolita today. I watched about 45 minutes of 2001, A Space Odyssey and got bored of watching damn dirty apes and space ships move around to dramatic music.

I've also gotten to see a lot of new releases (god bless the holiday release season), and so far, no duds. I saw King Kong the day it came out, I saw Narnia (much better than the Orlando Civic Theater production, even though my friend Shayna was in it...sorry Shayna, at least you were outdone by Disney), The Producers, and yesterday Mom and I saw Memoirs of a Geisha.

Tomorrow I'm driving out to Cocoa to see Katie and meet her boyfriend. He's tall, like the rest of them. She's head over heels, so I'm sure he's a nice guy. I'm just not looking forward to driving out there alone...unless I can convince Mom to lend me her car, in which case I will actually have access to a working CD player. I love Lizzie (my car), but she's seriously lacking in important features (acceleration, CD playing capabilites, going up hills, etc.).

my fingers are cold. and i'm kinda hungry.

Hmm...wonder how boyfriend and i will spend New Year's Eve? In PJs on the couch watching Comedy Central? In PJs reading WoT in bed? At *gasp* a party? Not counting on that one. Drinking? Very possibly.

Ok, on to other things. I have ADD.
