Alyzah & Imran's Engagement Celebration
I had the opportunity to do the photography for the engagement celebration for two friends. It was a traditional Pakistani Muslim event. This is where the wedding date is announced and the engagement rings are exchanged. The ceremony begins with the groom arriving and then joined by the bride to be. Afterwards, friends and family personally greet them with their blessings. Speeches and songs are then sung in their honour. After the dinner, they play a game of dholki where the two groups on the groom and bride's sides challenge each other with more songs.
