Not Gone Yet...
I've felt bad that the world of facebook has sucked all my attention. I'm going to hold on to livejournal as long as I can. It's incredible that I have stuff on here dating back to late 2003.
I got tickets for Simian Mobile Disco with Girl Talk, Cut Copy, Black Lips, the Kills and a few others. I'm looking forward to Coachella this year once againand I'm also going to try and go to Sasquatch Mem Day weekend.
The new Junior Boys and Lily Allen albums are rocking my way to work and I've also started to like Telefon Tel Aviv, Beirut and White Lies.
My friend Maeshowe and I are trying to do a trip to Bermuda this summer. Last year we went to Aruba and I think we are going to go through the alphabet of destinations each year from now on.
I saw the "Wrestler" last Friday and it kind of hit close to home because my dad used to watch all of that WWF crap and he grew up gambling on it in Minnesota. Mickey Rourke reminded me of my father in that he has had lots of health problems particularly with his heart. I think Mickey Rourke should win Best Actor-that takes a lot of guts to be pathetic and washed up in a role mirroring one's own life. Marisa Tomei was also great and she definitely is showing her age.
I'm going to Vermont this weekend to snowboard although I'm more inclined to ski since boarding has been more annoying than fun.
