Update #7
As Usual an e-mail that my mom sent.
Sarah was unable to have surgery yesterday. They actually took her to the OR, but the Anesthesiologist was unable to get her stabilized, so they called it off. This very rarely happens - but they were being careful because she needs such an extensive procedure.
Today she is scheduled to go down between 12 & 2 PM. They got a good look at her wounds yesterday and plan to cut off the dead tissue today and use a wound vac on her. The wound vac was developed here and there are posters down in the lobby all about how the wound vac has changed management of war injuries. So we continue to hope for the best.
Rob headed back to Maryland today, but Corey and Adah are here with me.
