Alright. So I'm at home now. I thought I had an eye doctor's appointment. Big confusion there. But I did go ice skating with Job's Daughters tonight. That was fun. Although, it was definitely cold. (As if being on ice would be warm.) After the skating, we went for pizza at Frolio's. That was delicious. And fun, too. We were watching the Winter X-Games. Shaun White yo. He's cool.
And tomorrow, I'm going to Olive Garden with my family. It's a late celebration of my grandmother's birthday. Yum. Food. I haven't had a home-cooked meal since I've been here. I eat better at school. I swear. Anyway...
After the first week of classes in this spring semester, I've decided that it will be a good one. At least until English and safety start.
-JOUR 201 is going to be boring. In fact, it already is. It's stuff that I've heard a bajillion times with other teachers. And with Hanna's tips, I should pass it easily.
-MUS 340 (Women's choir) is, as known, going to be fun. I love choir.
-ASTR 104 should be fine. There are four fairly dumb girls in there who do nothing but talk, giggle, and do stuff with their phones. The first day, two of them had matching EVERYthing; shoes, notebooks, pink pens, piercings. It was disgusting. Then, as I was waiting for the bus after class, I heard one of them say, "Right now, I'm on academic probation." And I just thought, 'Wow. You really are as dumb as you seem.' Oy vey.
-ECON 203 should be alright, I guess. I just had one class meeting this week. The teacher went to a conference Thursday. But yeah...it should be...at the most, slightly interesting.
-JOUR 232 should be fun. I like working with the Adobe programs on Macs. The only thing is that it's from 5:30-8:15. That's a long time to be sitting at a computer. And my shoulder starts to hurt after a while when I sit at a computer too long. Anyway...
That's all I have so far. After spring break, I have to go to English every day, and safety every Tuesday evening. Agh. It should be oh so fun. Eh.
Speaking of my 232 course; I have that class on every Wednesday. Which means that I have a class on Valentine's Day. We're having a quiz/test in the class on that day. How kind. I'm not going to have the energy to celebrate the day. What the hell? And it's going to be my first actual Valentine's Day that I'm NOT single. (*knocks on wood*) Again, what the hell? I usually dread the day, but now I'm not sure what to do for it. I want to bake cookies, 'cause that's what I'm good at. But I know I should probably do something more. What should I do? I need suggestions, please.
Other than that, I will see those of you at WKU tomorrow evening. I must be going now. I'm watching this interesting documentary thing about Steven Hawking and his theories on black holes. Woot!
