SO much! Boss lost his job, other boss got sick and subsequently lost her job...things got strange, boss finally found a job in DC and so, we're moving. Long story short!
She finished chemo a few months ago and so far so good...only a few icky side effects and whatnot, but she's doing good.
They JUST TODAY put a bid on a house and it was accepted!! It's in Haymarket...which I think is in Northern Virginia? We're hoping to get in by the end of August.
Wow...congrats! I'm glad that they found a place! Yeah...looks like Haymarket is way northern VA. But it looks to be near many parks, which will be nice :-)
A bit out there and attempting to recover from severe burnout. Was up north working on the dredging for a few months toward the end of last year...crazy hours continued through about mid-March, but that has gotten better.
I work for a new company, now - my old one was bought and my group "transitioned" to a new firm due to COI issues...we got to keep our jobs and stay together because EPA loves us.
Went to Cali to visit a friend in March and had awesome time...considered not coming back. The winds of change are blowing...not sure yet what they carry.
