so i was figuring that kerry would have at least gotten more votes, even if he had still lost. or even just more states, that wouldve been good too. i was under the impression that a lot of people hated bush, but i guess that's what happens when you live in almost-norcal and santa cruz. anyways, fuck bush goddamnit. hes done nothing good intentionally. so i was sad about all this going to my 8am class today, but then to make it worse, we were talking about it for a little in my class, and i guess people had initially thought that kerry would fare better because the number of college aged kids registered to vote went up a lot, but this was countered by the fact that ONLY 1 IN 10 PEOPLE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 AND 24 VOTED. i think that is sincerely fucked up. if you dont vote, you have no right whatsoever to complain about how things are going in the u.s. if i hear anyone i know say that they didnt vote yesterday i think i will either have to give them double kidney shots (depending on hwo much i already dislike them) or consider putting the friendship on the back burner. people who think politics arent important need to go move to greenland or something. politics count in america. now, for moving to canada... i wonder if the schools are good there
