Okay, so we've all seen the new trailer for Harry Potter, right??? Well, this is me and this is what I do on my summer vacation, I anaylize the snot out of HP trailers.

Harry looks soooo wrecked here. And I love it, I do, but could we have just a bit more tearage? I mean, he just got done talking to his dead parents and his dead Godfather and his Godfather's dead boyfriend. TEARS, yo! Gimmie! I do love the close-up of Voldie's hand holding the Elder Wand.

Knocked-out Hagrid! Did Harry see Hedwig die already? Moody? OMG I can't remember! It's tooooo sad!!!!

Ron's looking nice and scruffy here. And yes, I kinda feel dirty saying that. Hooray for Ron/Hermione. But I'm having a hard time placing this scene. That's Shell Cottage in the background, but what are they doing? It's not when Dobby dies, because Hermione is out for the count then, too. Right? My remembory is wonky.

Okay, this is where I get a little pissed. This is the scene from the first trailer they put on the HBP disc.

Notice the blood on Hermione's hands? This is the scene where Ron gets splinched. Blood everywhere. Nice and gory and desperate. (I love that scene.)

But here's the same scene in the new trailer.

WTF gives? Is the blood painted out so the trailer can be for all audiences??? I'm sorry, but the lack of vital fluids makes the scene seem a bit... *shrug*.

Is this supposed to be the scene when Ron comes back to camp and rescues Harry from the lake? That would explain the all wet and the sword. But when did the smokey, red-eyed vision of Harry and Hermoine getting it on turn into some snake-monster thingy that has Harry shouting, "Ron! Kill it!"?

Is that Goyle??

Oh... the rubble in the background... the look on Ron's face... Hermione pushing him back from danger... Did Fred just die???? Meep.

I don't remember this one from the book, but I love Voldie's grip on Harry's face. Those nails!

Okay, how epic is this shot?!?!?!

Sigh.... I can't WAIT to see these movies!!!
