Updates
So here are some updates:
1. We have a place to live! It's a old dormitory converted into a hotel. It is located right in between the two campuses we will be ministering at. Pray that God would provide additional finances so we can officially stay there. The price right now might cause us to cut some corners on our budget.
2. I have raised $1500 out of $5300. Pray that God would provide $500 in by Sunday, which is our next turn in date. And that I would trust God to be my Provider! Because He is, I just have trouble remembering that!
Two stories:
I met with a supporter this weekend and he told me that he had been praying about the amount to give. And when the Lord revealed it to Him, he knew he didn't have that money, but he still trusted God. Not a few days later, a check for that EXACT amount came in the mail from a lady who felt God leading her to send that money. How cool is that??
A guy on our team felt God leading him to raise double the amount for his trip. And he met with his grandparents that weekend and they told him they were going to pay for his trip ($5300, not double). So now he's at $6000, and is still going!
Oh yeah, got my passport last week. I am so excited about!! My picture is funny though...one collar in, and one collar out!
