i want holidays, and pictures, postcards and a smile,
fireplaces, pretty things, memories that last a while,
no more needing, no more hoping, no more wishing,
just..... in ur face.
creeky floors, end of the night locked doors.
i want..... alot of things.
i want....., one thing.
no, i want many things. but a few to be specific.
long night drives, from sunset to sunrise.
i want to be warm, but not too warm to sleep.
cold enough.... but not so cold im shivering.
bbqs, lots of food, fourth of july lights, (eventually)
2 mile walks back to the car.
no more dreaming, no more praying, no more wishing or hoping.
the heat of thunder, yes, i said it, the heat of thunder.
no tall tales, no more stories to tell.
proof be seen, by the eyes of all.
no more fearing...... remember. "i know im not alone"
mornings where.... i dont wanna get out of bed.
mornings where you wake up to a grin.
walking out on slammed doors on a weekday afternoon,
getting 8 miles away...realizing you have to turn back.
music whos words..... cant be ignored.
a child whos face...
gleams with nothing but happiness. no fear
