ONTD has had some pretty prominent and well-known members in the past, and the easiest way to make your mark is to take up trolling. But it takes a lot of effort and time and dedication to be a well known troll, and only a few of the thousands of ONTD members manage to troll so well that their names will live in infamy forever. With the help of grande_latte and some other users via twitter, I compiled a list of the ten most infamous ONTD trolls, in no order.
1. daavaaad/cheeks
Oh, Cheeks. The infamous Cheeks. Everyone at ONTD knows about the Guess Who posts, where users post pictures of themselves with celebs, holding ONTD fan signs, so when the first post appeared, no one thought much of it.
Except they didn't stop.
daavaaad, who earned his nickname because of his rose red cheeks, began making frequent posts of himself with celebs. People questioned whether he actually had a life other than stalking celebs, especially after the post where he called on users to expose Taylor Hicks' apparent douchiness. At first, his posts were cute and fun, and ONTD appreciated the exposure, but the frequency of his posts started getting real annoying, real fast. He was eventually banned from ONTD because he would not stop posting his celebrity pix in a FFAF post. He is survived by his fansigns, including his most famous one with Taylor Swift, which is currently featured on ONTD's Wikipedia page (deleted due to copyright infringement #rip)
2. icequeenscully
Everybody loves a little fashion face-off. But Xtina's boob job wasn't the most fascinating thing about this post. It was this thread by the one, the only, the legendary icequeenscully. It started off with her commenting off topic that her ex-boyfriend's parents were planning on pressing charges against her for stalking. At first, her case seemed somewhat sympathetic, as posters offered her advice and were firm but kind. But more questions were asked and it turns out her boyfriend was really an online boyfriend. And it just got crazier from there. Her announcement the next day that they wouldn't file charges was less epic, but still clearly crazy. Although later debunked as a fake, the icequeenscully saga will live on forever in ONTD lore.
3. bovinyl & onmymouth
Who would've imagined that an innocent post about Fantasia Barrino would give rise to one of the most hilarious troll threads ever. The chances that this comment thread was staged are pretty high, but that still doesn't lessen the hilarious effort that the two posters put into it. It all started out when bovinyl went off topic to gripe about her "best friend" who was planning on moving in with her soon. A few posters offer her advice, and then onmymouth makes her appearance, The appearance of lizziey on the first page just further cemented the epicness of the thread, but the bovinyl/onmymouth thread remains one of the funniest trolling efforts in recent ONTD times.
4. shopaholics
shopaholics was original Beyonce stan, along with her sidekick, college, she would come at anyone who dared question the divinity of Beyonce. If there was a Beyonce post on ONTD in the summer of 2009, shopaholics was either the original poster or one of the first comments on the first page. Back in the early spring and summer of 2009, as Britney was kicking off her comeback Circus tour, the self-identified Queen of the Bey Stans also took her place as one of the more high profile Britney haters, posting any negative press she could find about Britney in order to make Beyonce look superior. Shopaholics has not been seen on ONTD much, if at all, in 2010, but wherever she is, she will always be known as one of ONTD’s most devoted Beyonce stans.
5. toy_soldierrr
Before there was nerdfresh, there was toy_soldierrr. And you thought the current crop of trolls and stans were bad, they had nothing on Britney’s most prolific stan. During the crazy months between Hostage Brituation and the end of the Circus tour, while there may have been a lot of well-known Britney fans, it was toy_soldierr who took his trolling game up a whole 'nother level. I mean we’re talking some Cirque du Soleil stanning. One negative word about Britney, and toy_soldierrr would show up to insult you, belittle your point, or just make his complete delusion evident. Just check this thread for example, where he challenges ONTD to give him examples of pop stars under 50 who are more legendary than Britney. Someone provides him with four worthy examples, and...well, just click to see what happens next.
In fact, he was so prominent during his peak stan days that when, in April of 2009, a stalker was arrested outside of Britney's home, people immediately joked that it was toy_soldierrr. ONTD's most famous Britney stan was banned in June 2009 for making racist comments. He will not be missed.

One of the more recent trolls from ONTD, poisoninjectme was a Gaga stan who thrived on being as scandalous as his idol, only far more so. One of his more outrageous comments included his hopes that Selena would date Chris Brown because " she deserves a beating". His favourite catch phrase was "kill yourself," a popular response of his to several different threads, including one from a now deleted post that was the cause of his banning. After his own banning, a post popped up about a crazed Gaga stan and, as with toy_soldierrr, people joked that perhaps poisoninjectme had taken his ban from ONTD too hard.
7. not_kosher
And before those stans, there was not_kosher, a fervent Mariah stan. He was also well known for attempting to get into a fight with Perez Hilton, his insane youtube videos, and the fact that he claimed to have HIV. I wasn't able to dig up much information about him, but the fact that he was a peak poster in 2007 and people still talk about his legendary trolling was enough to land him a prime spot on this list.
8. jughood
Ah, jughood. One of ONTD's most beloved trolls. Initially a devoted Scientologist, jughood was always around to provide his confusing, obnoxious and at times endearing commentary on a wide variety of topics, including Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate Olsen, Gwyneth Paltrow, Nikki Blonsky and his hate for fat people, among other things. For much of 2008 and early 2009, he was ONTD's most notorious troll, inventing wild stories about himself, getting banned and unbanned, both by ONTD and Livejournal itself. After being banned under jughood, he returned as jughoood, but in mid-2009, his IP was apparently blocked from LJ as a whole, and so his glory days of trolling finally came to an end.
9. slimandsexxy
For every stan, there is the anti-stan. The person who makes it an effort to hate on a celeb so much that it becomes legendary. Almost every celeb has one, but the most famous of them on ONTD had to be slimandsexxy. From her comments about Angelina being an unfit mother and comparing Brangelina to the BTK killer, to her posts insisting that Angelina likes to lick Brad's asshole and that's why he dumped Jennifer Aniston. She was "outed" in a FFAF post as some woman named Joyce, though for a while she continued her rants about Brangeloonies, including making a list of everyone who defended Brad or Angie. Like several of the other well known trolls on this list, she hasn't been around much in 2010, and she is one of the more entertaining ones who will certainly be missed for her hilarious antics.
10. the ofuckno trolls
This list wouldn't be complete without these guys. Thanks to them, ONTD briefly had a bad rap this summer for killing a beloved sitcom star and for driving another wedge between Lindsay Lohan and her family. During the spring of '10, they trolled ONTD with their bizarre inside joke icons and comments and confused the hell out of everyone, but of course their biggest moments came with the two aforementioned posts, first when they posted some irrelevant article about some irrelevant nobody which was then changed to resemble a post from TMZ, claiming actress Betty White had died. Of course the news spread fast and soon it was all over the social media world that Betty White had died. Of course, the hoax was debunked very quickly, including one site which rudely called us an unquality blog.
Their next hoax had even more widely reaching consequences, as this Gawker post details. Although the mods quickly deleted the post when the tweets were discovered to be false, it was already too late, as other celebrity blogs quickly reposted the hoax as fact--without sourcing ONTD, might I add, although it did further prove that Perez Hilton jacks his "exclusives" from us. Michael Lohan denied it, while Lindsay refused to believe her father and stopped speaking to him. We were mentioned by the Washington Post, the mods released a statement apologising to the Lohans, the
trolls were banned and after all that drama, ONTD got back on with life.
