Snowday!

Jan 06, 2010 03:36

I don't know what it is with me and posting lately, I must be having a pro-lj season again.

Britain had actual snow. That stuck. And caused havoc.

My insane friend decided she'd still drive in it though, so we braved the (actually not that cold) weather to make her view the beauty that is Sherlock Holmes. (Yes. Again. No, I won't shut up about it XD).

On the way. Roads are so weird when its snowed. Beth (driving) got disappointed that someone had already driven all the way around the roundabout in it. And I dunno what they were pointing about :D

I've never seen the cinema so empty. Okay, it was 11am, on what was supposed to be first day back to school. But it was still a shocker. (Beth's impressive figure of 8 is sadly not pictured :P)

Post-film. (OH WATSON.....Everytime....) Indulging in a spot of vanity while waiting for Ray and Beth. (New jacket btw!! I love it so much. River Island bargain)

Oh, the trailers were so much better this time around. Ironman 2 (!!!), first time seeing it in cinemas. Ray nearly broke my hand with excitement. Prince of Persia. Oh God Jake Gyllenhaal is back. Returned the breaky hand to Ray. Then Clash of the Titans. Beth perked up but I wasn't too interested until A FREAKING KRAKEN was summoned. Sea Creatures are my favourites.

So that's another film to add to the 'to see in 2010...' list.

Friends return. Ray does her best possessed impression disgused as flicking her hair. The two of them attempt to ruin photos but largely fail. :D

Back to the car; Ray shows off and I nearly get run over whilst paying no attention any other car.

More roads!

We headed to Pizza Hut, and wasted 10 minutes in Asda so we could have the Happy Hour special. Was yum. Annoyed everyone in there by laughing hysterically at the things we used to get up to in Sixth Form.

And it's not Tuesday anymore and there's still snow. I expect to find my mom at home tomorrow if the school she lunchladys at gets closed. Whoo.

friends, everyday life
