Blaaagghhh...
So I went to the annoyingly early appointment I had at the job centre and got to go upstairs which has never happened before.
The woman (Julie?) I had to see told me she was signing me up for New Deals, because I've been signing on for 6 months.
She then has me do a 'basic skills' test in which I get the two maths questions wrong. Which had nothing to do with them planning their piss-up while I was trying to think *eyeroll*.
Then she tells me I have to take part in this mandatory Gateway To Work thing, a two week course to help me become 'job ready'. As if I haven't been for the last 6 months.
She tells me it starts Monday.
Monday was supposed to be The Big Happy Fun Day Out to Twycross Zoo with Ray, Kerri and Beth. The first time since school we would've all been together.
But now I have to spend the day (probably) in some stupid office doing 'interview techniques'.
There's also the chance I might have to cancel the week in Blackpool, because there might be another 2 week thing when that was planned.
I was so pissed off, (and still am) that I cried out of complete frustration for about half an hour when I got home.
I can't believe I have to miss this, it's not fair.
