The acting between the human woman and vampire man in True Blood is way better than Twilight. I'm tempted to pick up Harris' books now to see if this is a good representation. Good god, I wish people talked about these vampires more. They're far more interesting.

And they don't freaking sparkle.

That is a part of an excellent comic called "Head Trip". She has a site for it, I just can't remember it. Read it when you get a chance. It's pretty good.

that comic is how I first heard about Twilight and I still read the books. And Loved them. I haven't seen the movie yet though.
