Army Boy the Magnificent Asshole solicited me for relationship advice and I shot off a wordy fuck-you response which prompted him to make a clarifying statement that I actually responded to in a not-so-mean manner, but still ended with a big fuck-you response.
The murkiness of the above sentences testifies to the continuing strength of my fury. It never faded. That makes me feel weird about myself, makes me feel like a bad person. Turn the other cheek and all that crap, right? I want to because I know that's what people should do.
I haven't talked to him in over a year, maybe two years. I can't keep track. So how is it that the anger comes back so perfectly as if the last time he contacted me was just yesterday? I could kick his teeth in with this kind of anger. Good thing for him that he's in California... as far as I know. Now my adrenaline is riding high and all I want to do is scream and punch pillows and wish for those two years of my life back. I can't calm down and go back to what I was doing before I read the email. My body is buzzing with the desire to destroy something.
