I still hate Red Bull, but I'm going to drink it tonight to get through the last 100 pages of my reading ( Read more... )

Well, while i've been studying overhere, I've been using instant coffees. Specifically Nescafe's cafe viennese (coffee with chocolate). Its not too strong on the coffee flavor. I think its quite nice and its kept me up pretty well. :)

I'm a fan of iced coffee, with added flavoring if I'm in the mood. Then i couple said coffee with fast paced music. I also take regular breaks, but set them up based on tasks rather than time. So, instead of a break every two hours I'll take breaks every 80 pages read or 2 pages written, something like that. Good luck. ave fun in Jax.

I'll study with you when I can, and I will share my Mate Vana with you too. I swear by that stuff.

B12 vitamins are great for giving your extra energy too, and they're water soluble so you can't really overdose on them or anything. Omega 3 supplements help "lubricate" your mind so you feel calmer and your thoughts flow better, at least that how many people explain it. They've definitely had a positive effect on me.

I usually study to Belle and Sebastian music because it's calming and doesn't demand too much of my attention, so I can focus on what I'm doing...
