My 23rd Birthday
Dad, if you don't want see me or be here on my birthday, fine. I am fortunate enough to know plenty of people who like me and wouldn't mind spending time with me on my birthday. People that won't hurt me or make me feel stupid. People who would never make fun of me for being in pain or laugh in my face when pain meds work for them and not me. So don't you worry. I have the best family and the best friends that anyone could ever ask for, and you know what? They love me. And that's all that I could ever ask for.
