10 Theme Icons
The theme icons for this round have been inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean page at TV Tropes.
All Myths Are True - you must icon a mystical creature. This can include the mermaids, the Kraken, Davy Jones and his crew, or Blackbeard's zombies.
Arc Words - your icon must include a repeated phrase from the series. This can be an important phrase or a catchphrase.
Back From The Dead - you must icon any character that has been dead or dying, but has returned to life. This can include previously undead characters.
Cool Boat - icon a cool boat...er, ship. XD
Enemy Mine - you must icon any time that two "enemies" work together. That is, anyone who is not on the same "side" at that time.
Gorgeous Period Dress - your icon must include someone wearing non-pirate clothes. This can include Elizabeth (pre-piracy), Governor Swann, Lord Beckett, or the Navy.
Interesting Situation Duel - you must icon any fight scene that has an interesting twist to it, such as being between three people, or taking place in a maelstrom.
MacGuffin - your icon must include an important object from the series, such as the Aztec gold, the dead man's chest, the pieces of eight, or the Fountain of Youth chalices.
Nice Hat - you must icon someone's headgear. This does not have to be a hat, just an interesting headpiece.
Villainous BSOD - you must icon a villain's Blue Screen of Death i.e. their shock at their downfall and defeat.
5 Category Icons
Tag, You're It - you must take a character from your previous icon and use them in the next to make a sort of "character chain" across the set. If you can, try and make the set a full circle by making the last character the same as the first.

Anything goes! Any icon within the rules will be accepted.
Table
Feel free to use your own table if you prefer, but please make sure it is in the same format. You may also change the colours of this table. :)
Posting
~ All participants have been given posting access. If you do not have posting access then please leave a comment and I will sort it out ASAP. :)
~ Your icons must fit LJ standards and be made specifically for the contest. Animated icons are not accepted.
~ Please format your subject line like this: Round 8: Your Username.
~ You do not need to tag your entry.
~ When submitting your icons please use a 3 icon preview followed by the link to your journal (or place the rest of your icons behind a cut).
~ Please make sure that the post containing your icons remains unlocked… at least until winners are announced ;)
~ Please submit only completed claims (all 20 icons).
~ The deadline for submitting your sets is 20th July (Friday).
