Prosthetic Head

This morning when I woke up Mom had already gone to Costco to get stuff we don't need, so I brought down her presents and when she came back she opened them and there was much rejoicing. Damn well better have been, anyway, I bought her one of those expensive cards that comes in a plastic bag. Hehe. Anyway, she liked the book I got her, which is also hooray because... she's hard to shop for. But I figured it's about people who are obsessed with Jane Austen... it'd be easy for her to relate to.

Then we went to the Forum Shops, or rather just Virgin Megastore. I love going there because a) their prices are great and b) they have quite the selection. I found like ten CD's I'd been looking for and not been able to find... but I narrowed it down to the ones that were all 10 bucks. And Mom only had to pay for two of them. I got:

- Cursive, Domestica
- Modest Mouse, Good News For People Who Love Bad News
- The Offspring, Americana
- The Foo Fighters
- Green Day, Nimrod

I've only listned to Cursive and Modest Mouse so far, but that's because the other ones were basically just replacements for burned copies that started skipping like mad. While I was getting those, Annie and Mom were up looking at the movies, and they got Amelie, Samurai Jack: Season 1, SLC Punk, and Coal Miner's Daughter. I guess the last one's just a favorite of Mom's. Or something. o_O

And sorry about the 12 hour period of having that French guy on my avatar. I think he's cute. But then I realized probably no one else thinks so, so you get Davey Havok again. I think I'm going to move to France... hm...

As usual, have not started any homework. But I'm happy for school tomorrow. No sarcasm there.
