"This was before the Report even existed. I was on the Daily Show as a correspondent, and Stephen and I had this segment together called 'The NewlyWeds' where we confronted an issue most newlyweds face, and we usually ended up fighting like newlyweds (It somewhat reminded me of Even Stevphen). We would talk about big purchases like appliances or furniture and end up fighting over the color or something. We did this stuff 'so newlyweds everywhere didn't have to go through the trouble.' It was a great segment! The one in my dream that really stuck out, though, was about how the toilet paper should go on the holder in a bathroom. Stephen argued under while I said over, and we somehow got Jon into it, and he agreed with me. Stephen got mad, stood up, and loudly proclaimed that he was 'divorcing' me (and then added to the camera that filing for divorce would be next week's topic). Then, after the show was over, we would sit down and think of more ideas. It was so fun and realistic, and I was devastated when I woke up. But I definately think 'The NewlyWeds' would've been a sweet segment." - a dream I had Dec 29, 2007
So I had an idea to turn it into a fic and made these posters and banners and stuff for it. Those would be under the cut. In the actual fic, I am not in it. But Adrienne Moreno-Vess has just left the Broadway stage for The Daily Show in 2002, and she and Stephen have a segment called 'The NewlyWeds.' No romantic pairings, so calm down. Story would span from June 2002 to December 2005. Another one I'm sure I'll never have time to write.

Also, anything related to the plot of my dream - 'The Newly Weds' - is mine. The plot, my OFC, not much else. But I don't wanna be poking around the Internet to see someone used this idea without my permission or something stupid like that. If you'd like to write this with me as a consultant, sweet!
